We invite you to join us in our worship of God. We are a small Christian Family located in Hurst, Texas, a suburb on the northeast side of Fort Worth. Our overall aim is to worship God just as the New Testament directs, without any of man's innovations. We are called to carry on the work of Christ, to do what He would have us do.
In Luke 19:9, Jesus said: "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." In the 15th Chapter of Luke, Jesus shares with us how important lost souls are to him and therefore important to us. In everything Jesus did, he glorified God. He had compassion on the sick, the poor and the down trodden. These are the characteristics we strive for.
We make it our daily goal to honor God in all we do and say. The most important task and privilege for each member of the church is to share the Gospel with people who do not know Jesus Christ and God's true word. God has provided a plan of salvation in the person of Jesus Christ. Our mission as Christians begins with simple, everyday care for people because that is exactly what Jesus did during His earthly ministry. Everyone in need is our neighbor (Luke 10). We are told to love our neighbor as ourselves. Jesus tells us in John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." Love inspires unity. Love overcomes fear, gossip, jealousy, and anger.
We sincerely extend to you a cordial invitation to attend our worship services. We are always eager to make new friends and to meet new people who share our interest in the Truth. We strive to provide an atmosphere of love and warm Christian Fellowship and Friendship.
